Thanks Ben. Just seen this sorry, unfortunately my dad passed away so I wasn’t in work for a few days after the funeral. The first days off I’ve had in nearly 12 months and google, yahoo suddenly fall in love with my website the traffic goes mental and murders the shared server the site was one. So my host switched off my site without me knowing. Anyway the site has been transferred to a dedicated kick arse 3Ghz Xeon, 1 GB RAM, SATA, Raid server! The server is a bit OTT but the site should work amazing once its back up properly. I wont be putting the site back online for another couple of weeks as I’ve too much going on to still be able to manage a tip top service for my customers. The dedicated server was sorted out by a guy James off piston heads forum, worth checking out his website http://www.register1.net/ as its by far the cheapest around. -
Depends what it is really, if its no more than 2kgs then no problem and no extra cost. Anymore then it can start to get expensive depending on the brand. Sorry I don’t have zones worked into the website yet so it wont auto calculate shipping to the Isle of Man. I rewriting the shipping page to cover this at the moment actually. If you have anything in mind drop me a PM and I’ll do my best to find the cheapest shipping route possible.

I only switched the reviews on last week, had to add an impartial test.  Actually if anyone has any of the tools that are on the site already feel free to add some reviews. Don’t worry whether the favourable or not, it’s all good and helpful for people to decide between things. It’ll probably take years to build up a decent amount of customer reviews. I’ve always like customer reviews on sites when I’m buying.

Nice one Sam, glad its sorted! These two sites are cool for looking at turbos: http://www.atpturbo.com/ and http://www.kineticmotorsport.com/ The manifolds are for left hand drive cars though. The guys on Dubforce seam to know whats what with them. GT28RS or GT30R in other trim or something is the in thing I think. Something like this one I think http://www.kineticmotorsport.com/catalo ... p-930.html -

Have you got a new map sensor yet Sam? -
There is a mk2 about with a cosworth engine and runing gear. It may be worth finding that to look at the rebuilt fire wall and tranny tunnel.
-
I think you can find the paint code for you car on the sticker thats on the inside of the rear pannel.
-
Those drag racing corrados, what engines are in them baby’s? Putting a V8 in and rear wheel drive is going to be a lot of work. Fitting a twin turbo R32 and rallye/syncro 4x4 system would be a better option probably.
-
Out of interest how much did you pick up the engine for?
-
what engine code is it?

Hi Ben mate, yeah Im getting there with it now. I spoke to Sam the other night for the first time in ages. I’m coming up to N Wales on Sat night until Monday morning so I'll see you for a pint on Sat. If your about I'll be sorting my car out on Sunday down Wern with Sam so pop down to play. Started putting it all back together ready for a visit to the body shop. Charger and Bracket back from Darren. (g-werks) :D :D Its not looking to great after leaving it standing for a while, gutted. Needs the bumpers doing, wheels polishing and an oil change then it'll be sorted. :D Got it booked into the body shop at my local stealers on Monday for a few minor touch ups to make it spotless. Theres two minor paint chips on the door from car parks which need doing, also getting that strip on the bottom of the grill replaced and painted with a new panel. I may have to get some chrome bolts on the BBS before selling it just to finish it off nice for the next owner. :D Also that way it'll be close to immaculate. 8) -
a relation used this the other day: http://www.norwichunion.com/short-term- ... /index.htm if it helps. Again with the; # not have been modified. # not have been imported. John at Brentacre probably the best bet to find something.
-
Cheers that looked brilliant until I read "vehicles that have not been modified or imported" which makes my imported and modified Golf G60 a problem. 8)  I’ll try giving them a ring anyway, thanks.

Anyone know where you can get insurance just for a couple of days?

BBS RX Spigot Rings/ FK Highsports or Hicon GTs??

I think ET35 with coilovers should be okay. But Im basing this on ET33 RM's being close to rubbing normal suspension. Someone else should have a more exact answer. -
I take it the car needs to be on a 4 post ramp to use it and one that lifts by the wheels. Thats if you use it with the wheel on, as the instuctions show it used against the inner wheel rim. Don’t fancy trying to use it on a lowered car that isn’t raised on a ramp. I was pretty lucky as it came up super cheap, about £18 with p&P, in another Facom distributor’s clearance stock. I’ve just checked with them and they don’t have anymore of them. I'll let you know if anymore come up. The Facom RRP for it was £131.92+VAT!! Facom have now discontinued it too. So I was lucky to get it, a handy tool to have in my personal collection.
