I was just havin a look at the MR2's they do a twin turbo as well which looks nice is that the 270bhp ona and the turbo is the 245bhp one?

I love the center console that divides the two front seats very nice 8) I would end up leaving a lot of black wavey lines on the roads!

the problem with an MR2 is working on it though!!! Every time you have to do some maint you have to have the engin out!!! Plus where am i supost to put my lunch box!!!!! :lol: I do like them a lot though and they are rear wheel drive which is a big big +

I think that si what it is called it is a very dark purple. Make it a tenner and you got a deal! lol

It is blueberry Black. It has a full service history up to 10K ago and i have been doing all the maint on it since.

Hi what do you guys think of the FTO mivec and the integra type R. I was just thinking of what cars are avalable for about 5K that might be able to replace a VR! If there is one!!!!!! :) cheers Dan

Hi how much do you think my Vr is worth? It is a 93 VR6 with 134K on the clock the car runs fine and is in good condition for age. Here is a list of things i have done on it since i have had it. Head completly rebuilt new plugs new ht leads new coil pack new water pump new brakes all round new uprated bushes all round new standard suspension all round new spoiler control box new clifford concept 650 K&N panal filter decat exaust Cheers Dan

this is now known as black monday!!!!! :( My water pump started to leak on the way home so i stopped before the car started to overheat! While i was being towed home my mates car broke down!!!!!! :roll: so i then got my dad to tow me the rest of the way!

Yeah that is what i was worried about but i kept a close eye on the engin and water temp and it seemed to be fine!! Touch wood it will get me to the garage tonight!!!!! :wink: Cheers Dan

Ok that sound about right is the v belt tensioner under the cover right at the front above where the water pump is? Do you think it is alright to drive it to work till tomorrow night when it is going to the garage anyway for something else? Is there anythig else worth doing whill I am in there? Cheers Dan

sorry i always forget that. It is a 93 vr6 with 134K it is coming fro the front left if you are looking at it from the front of the car so O/S. I thought it was the timming chain but then i found that it is on the other side. cheers Dan

I have the same prob but i dont have the vag cat with the heat sheild. I did think it could have been the water pump cos from inside the car it sounded almost like cavitation but when i stuck my head under the bonnet it sounded more metalic.

Hi guys I have another problem I can hear a noise coming from the left hand side of the engin. any idears what it could be it happens when the car is idleing and at low revs but seems to go away at higher revs. It almost sounds like a scraping noise!! :? Cheers Dan

No that is not true I got a part for my VR the other day and it cost me less than a fiver 8) It was only the expansion tank cap though :lol: But everything else has cost me too much to count! :(

yes it does happen some times. What is the best thing to do just replace it with a new one (how much are they?) or would it be best to have the sensor out and try and give it a bit of a clean off?

Ok so I got it checked out on VAG COM and it cam up with Coolent temp sensor ( which I sorted) Hall sensor It seems to be running ok now with the hall sensor fault. How is this possible? Cheers Dan
