1. 1992 VW Corrado G60. MOT until August 2016. Full service history including every MOT certificate from 1995. Super charger modified by JabbaSport to stage 4 and fitted with a 68mm pulley along with a chip kit in 2000. The supercharger was last serviced in 2012. A jabbasport induction kit was fitted at the same time. Jabbasport also fitted a Milltek exhaust and a cat by pass. Jabbasport also gas flowed the head in 2001. The car is fitted with 17" Azev wheels and has recently had new tyres fitted. The suspension has been upgraded with koni shocks and Eibach springs. The cam belt was replaced in 2012 by Jabbasport when the milage was 144000,it has now done 147000 miles. The car has recently had new brakes and a new battery. The rear spoiler rises and retracts and the sunroof works, tilt and slide. The electric mirrors work as does the windows although I'm waiting for a replacement switch for the passenger side as its a bit temperamental. The hot air blower does not currently work but I am hoping to resolve this with a replacement blower. The central locking works on the doors and boot but not on the fuel flap. There appears to be some parts missing from the locking device. Also, when unlocking the doors the central locking pump runs on a bit and there appears to be an air leak in the passenger door as you can hear air hissing from it. Could be a simple fix? The seats look like they have been re-trimmed and are now half grey leather. For some reason,to start the car you turn the ignition key and then press a button! Not my cup of tea and it was on the list of things to change. I bought the car recently as a driveable project but have now bought a T4 van that I'm looking to convert. £3000 ono. The car is in Shrewsbury, Shropshire SY3, which is about 30 miles west of Birmingham.
2. Body has suffered from being kept outside. It has been T-Cut too many times so rust is bubbling up. I've filled a few areas but I haven't got the time to finish it off. Also it has been kept under a horse chestnut tree so there are a few minor dimples in the roof. Tailgate is from a breakers yard so not an exact colour match. Needs a really good clean! Starts and runs great but does not start when warm (invariably starts if you temporarily disconnect the fuel supply hose, so I've always been able to drive it home). 5 good tyres, new front discs Not working: tailgate washer spray, light behind the clock, bonnet release retaining clip (mole-grips supplied with car). Everything else works: Alarm/immobiliser, ABS, central locking, electric spoiler, electric windows, electric sunroof, etc. Battery is on its last legs though. MOT Advisories: rear brake disks worn but not seriously weakened, nearside ball joint slight play, some engine oil leak, slight corrosion nearside sill (could be repaired without welding). Great as a rolling restoration or as a hack that still does 0-60 in 7 seconds. Hence, £400 to a good home. More photos at http://tinyurl.com/zkwkuzb Full size images by email on request. Located: Bedale, North Yorkshire, 1 Mile from A1 Keith.

5. Hi all It's time for me to say goodbye to my G60. I bought the car in January this year and have had lots of fun driving and working on the car to keep it in great condition. A heap of time and money(too much) has been spent to make it a great drive. Work includes; new pads, discs and hoses, fully refurbished BBS alloys (originals also included in the sale), engine tune up, major service (inc all filters & fluids), new starter motor, new belts, tracking, wipers, new number plates etc etc etc. Do call text or message me for more details. The car is also up on Pistonheads with photos. MoT'd until June next year, 2 keys, White, immobiliser, adjustable coil over suspension, no rips or tears in the interior. Probably the only thing I haven't got to looking at is the rear spoiler. It works fine using the button but not automatically. This is my 4th car so gets used very lightly. I have done only around 2k miles in the last year and it's time to show my MK1 golf more love. Advertised for £3,500 ono.
6. Hi! This is my Volkswagen Corrado VR6. I've owned the car since April 2014 and it has been my main transport since then. It has been a fun and reliable car, and I am very fond of it.. but I need something newer, more comfortable and more presentable. (Also, my wife won't drive it) so I am considering selling. The car goes really well, is a pleasure to drive. The body work is generally solid with no major rust anywhere underneath MOT is valid until 18th July 2016 and it has had 4 new tyres fitted My Corrado has an LPG conversion fitted by the previous owner. this works well - No noticeable loss of power and switches cleanly between Petrol and Autogas running. the Gas tank is a donut shaped one in the boot where the spare tyre would go. Holds 30 litres, which currently costs about £ 17 to fill up. This makes it comparatively cheap to run. Millage is almost 149,000 and being used still. The car did have a reconditioned VEGE engine fitted at 100,000 miles and this is mentioned in the history. I can't tell you why as it was several owners ago. It's been completely reliable for me apart from an intermittent starting problem last winter, that turned out to be the battery on it's way out. It does have many minor imperfections and faults however though, which I will try to detail. It's also a car at an age that it needs to be taken care of, and my ham fisted daily use is starting to take it toll on some of the controls and fittings. Things wrong with it. * Various dings from careless car doors in car parks. * the front bumper is not original it's a resprayed red one and could do with repainting * Two small rust spots - rear boot lid and on one side, I'l photograph them. * The electric spoiler works via the dashboard control, but doesn't raise / lower automatically at speed. * The sunroof doesn't work, I leave it shut. * The central locking doesn't work - my garage told me it needs a new vacuum pump, but it once locked me out with my keys inside so I decided to do without central locking it after that. * Radio reception is very poor * The heater controls are stuck on the forward facing setting. * It has an oil leak from somewhere in the engine bay Other details * 4 New Hankook Tyres * Black leather interior. (the heated seats are not connected up) * Short shifter stick * sports exhaust and cone air filter * Weitec Coilovers * Original Red VR6 grill badge! (also have the original grill, not in great condition, but will include it) O * Original (out of date) first aid kit! These are the advisories from the last MOT: * Power steering component has a slight seepage * Brake pipes slightly corroded * Brake hoses slightly corroded * Inner brake disk worn, pitted or scored but not seriously weakend * Nearside road wheel with a slightly distorted bead rim * Oil leak. Work done since I've owned it: Rear brakes and pads replaced Coolant temperature sensor replaced Rear brake caliper replaced Handbrake cable replaced. Gear shift mechanism replaced. Drivers door handle replaced. Nearside rear lower gearbox engine mount replaced Inner CV joint replaced Anti rollbar link ball joints replaced. Headlight switch loom replaced (Mk2 golf switch now fitted) axle bushes replaced Oil sump replaced. £ 1700 Viewings welcome. Please let me know if any questions! Thanks,

I have bought an R32 and simply don't have the space or time to keep on top of the old lass. I've spent a lot of money, time and effort on her in the last 4 years but she's starting to look a bit sad now. I've done roughly 22k in her over 4 years ownership. Very looked after until I've let things slide in the past 6 months. Never broken down on me, engine seems to be bulletproof. Regular service items is all it's ever needed really. There's probably bits I've missed off the below but the bulk should be present and correct. The Basics: Location: West Midlands Model - 2.0l 8v Year - 1995 Miles - 142k Colour - Twilight Violet MOT - Expired Tax - SORNed Service History - Part. Since taking ownership of her I have done services myself. Most other work carried out at DG Autotech. The Good: Outside • Clear Side Repeaters • Crystal/Red Rear Clusters • Azev A 16's - 3 good tyres. (Need kerbing sorting to be perfect. I can get this done by the place I used before - price tbn) • Badgeless Grill - Brand new 2yrs ago. • SWG Scuttle Panel • New Front Wiper Motor & Linkage Replacement - 2yrs old • Audi TT Wipers - 2yrs old, blades pretty new • New VW Foliage Seal - 3yrs old • Satin Black Rear Badges - not perfect anymore but not too tatty • New Arial Base Seal - 3yrs old • New VW Ignition Switch - 3yrs ago • New cam belt - 3yrs ago • Rear Brake Pads, Discs and Compensator - approx. 20k/3yrs ago • DG Autotech Headlight Loom - approx. 2yrs ago • Vibratechnics Front Engine Mount - approx. 3yrs ago • KW Springs and Shocks Refurbed in Por15 & PlastiDip Paint - approx. 20k/3yrs ago. No signs of corrosion • New VW Top Mounts and Bearings - approx. 3yrs ago • New VW Ignition Coil - approx. 2yrs ago • New VW Drop Links - approx. 10k/2yrs ago • New VW Lambda Sensor - approx. 2yrs ago • Magnecor Ignition Leads - approx. 4k/1yr ago Inside • Daves16v Handbrake Tunnel Fix • Colour coded Momo Gear Knob & Gaiter • Daves16v Satin Aluminum Base • VR6 Leather Steering Wheel - Good condition • New Headlight Switch • Window Rollers Replaced on both sides • Humped rear bench • Retrimmed Headlining in Anthracite Faux Suede • Replaced all under carpet sound deadening with new material • Sound deadened drivers door (passenger will need doing as replaced - see below) • Custom MDF Door speaker baffles. Attached to door skin, hidden behind door card. • Custom MDF Tweeter baffles in original location on dash. Grills replaced with audio fabric. • PHD 5.25" Components • Custom MDF Amp rack with fibreglass cover (this isn't the best workmanship but it does its job). • Boston Acoustics 4 channel amp The Bad: In April 2012 a Taxi Driver pulled out on me. Long story short - minimal damage to front quarter but was written off. I sourced replacement panels off this site and had the car repaired and front end resprayed. All clips, screws, bolts etc were brand new from VW and I had the front bumper iron powder coated at the same time. The car was VOSA checked, MOT'd and all good to go back on the road. Due to this it is a CAT D. I have had no problems insuring it since this incident. Before and after pics: The Ugly: In September 2013 some lowlife decided they'd break into my beloved - smashing the passenger window, bending the door frame back and ripping out my headunit and stealing some low value personal stuff from my glovebox. Due to the way they'd bent the door it was scrapped and I sourced a replacement off CrazyDave. Graham at DG Autotech fitted it, made sure all the wiring worked as it should and also sorted the loom they had buggered when ripping the headunit out. Didn't bother claiming as it would've cost me more pain than it was worth. Isn't insurance great! Outcome is that the new door is solid and fully functional but will need respraying to match. Before and after pics: Extras: I've accumulated a fair few parts over the ownership. These are: • Oettinger back box with oval tip • Full 280mm front brake set up (Brembo discs, Tarox pads, Refurbed Calipers, New Big Red seals, Refurbed dust shields, Goodridge hoses • Rear MK4 Brake set up (Greenstuff pads, Goodridge converter hoses, part-refurbed calipers • Daves16v door repair kit (both sides) • Daves16v Short shifter • Daves16v rear hump braket • Brand new heater controls (from a Passat I think so dials are the other way round but I've been told they'll work fine. Will need to obtain a LHD faceplate) • Centre console in reasonable condition • Custom fibreglass sub enclosure with baffle for 10inch sub. Baffle can be removed to fit 12inch sub. • New JBL 10" GT4 Sub • Some sound deadening material left over • New sachs clutch • Set of Westwood (standard) alloy wheels (all tyres need replacement) • Standard rear light clusters • Polished fuel rail • New alternator • New et of NGK spark plugs and oil filter • Spare head with various ancillaries • Various engine brackets, subframe and 'bits' I could break the car, and potentially make more money, but I'd really like it to go to a good home before the winter sets in. Most of the parts are there to bring her back to life along with a bit of paint and she'll be good for years to come hopefully. PM me with any questions etc.
11. After 10yrs of owning Corrado's it feels like the right time to try something else One previous owner Concourse winning car Large history file Background since 2005: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=16950 £16,000
12. With huge regret, I need to pass my beloved car onto a new owner. Vehicle Mileage: 184,216 Engine Mileage: ~25,000 (Seller of engine claimed 10k, no reason to disbelieve this, 15k covered since) Engine MKV R32 3.2l 24v VR6 BMC CDA intake Poly front engine mount Dubpower 6 branch stainless manifold Magnex (standard VR6) exhaust New MAF, Lambdas, many spare coilpacks New Radiator New ECU New throttle pedal Suspension & Drivetrain 288mm Brake upgrade KW V2 Suspension Upgraded control arm bushes (R32 golf) All subframe & drivetrain components replaced over the last 3 years, including wheel bearings (driver's side still outstanding but fine), brake discs/pads, suspension bushes, rear beam bushes and complete brake overhaul, handbrake cables. Body & Exterior Recent restoration work on boot, number plate surround, both wings, sills Suffered damage from negligent driver striking passenger door. All repaired to a good standard through ins(pictures available) Inpro lights all round, not to everyone's taste and unfortunately do not have any standard parts (bought from previous owner this way) Upgraded headlight loom BBS RC 17" wrapped in Toyo T1Rs (genuine wheels) Interior Momo steering wheel JVC stereo Used as a daily by me for a number of years with the new engine, and 5 years in total. Had a lot of love and care over the years, with all work completed to a high standard by myself. 6 months Tax and will have a valid MOT for sale (nearly due) Negatives Windscreen cracked, don't have the insurance extra cover to replace it :( (yours might have cover though!) Clunk from driver's side, not sure of cause yet Engine is not 100%, ideally requires a going over by the specialist due to torque flat spots. Recently thrown a pedal fault and caused the engine to drop to idle with no response. Looks like a wiring fault but I am attempting to fix this Most importantly, this vehicle just needs more care and attention than I am able to deliver any more. It needs to go to a new home who is prepared to invest a bit more into it to make it perfect. Reason for the sale is due to a career change I now need to economise, if there was another way, I'd be keeping this car. It will put a huge smile on your face (as corrados do) and is a fantastically urgent car. £3500 ovno swaps considered for something sensible and diesel with cash my way Recent pictures to follow, build thread below http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=43612
13. I'm listing my Corrado R32. Priced to sell at 3750 ono - selling due to expanding family and not having a garage to keep it in. History - I bought the car in 2005 and owned for 2 years as a VR6 - Car previously owned for many years by VW employee - 40k miles done per year - but serviced 4 times a year at VW - 100s of receipts - Sold in 2007 with a mileage of 244K to Coupehaus who did the R32 upgrade as well as body work preparation and then had a professional full respray - Car is badged up as a storm but I've found it has aftermarket air con and original number plate was 'M' reg - so storm replica - Green with the beige leather interior - I bought the car back again as an R32 in 2011 - had it remapped at Emerlad where it was measured at 256 BHP @ 131 mph with 229 lb/ft torque on a rolling road - An incredible car to drive - selling to save money on owning and running two cars - reduced price due to paint problems detailed below - More details of the car available at http://www.corrador32.co.uk Mods as VR6 - Lowerred 40mm - Adjustable AVO shocks front and back - Lexus style rear lights R32 Conversion - Mk5 R32 engine transplant. (engine had only covered just over 9,000 miles when transplanted) - Emerald K3 ECU - Aeromotive adjustable FPR - Dubpower polished 6 branch stainless steel exhaust manifold - Milltek 2.5” stainless steel exhaust (de-cat) - Modified R32 throttle body to run a cable - New VR6 clutch - Slimline 290mm pacet fan Good Points - Enthusiast owned for ages - Tons of TLC as a VR6 - Only 12.5K miles on the R32 engine - All the mods mentioned above - sounds unique - MOT until 27.05.15 - Toyo Proxes T1Rs all round with good tread - Re-mapped by Dave Walker at Emerald - Cat 1 alarm added (fitted by Trim Wizard) with certificate - Emerald ECU supports 3 different maps and (with an extra switch and some wiring) you can switch between maps on the fly. ECU software, manual and cables with USB adapter all included Negative Points - Paint issue - small bumps have appeared on several panels - main reason for low price. I've included some photos of this - and a diagram of which areas area affected. - A patch of rust-related bubbling paint in one area - Wiring loom is more tidy than when I bought the car but wiring could do with being tidied up - Catalytic converter has been removed so MoT requies friendly garage - FIXED:: On cold start engine needs reving for 30 seconds before settling to a nice idle - Rear spoiler does rise automatically but does so in installments - both when driving and via the switch - Sunroof tilts and slides but sometimes has to be closed in installments after slide - Lack of detailing and tidiness in and around the engine bay - needs some TLC - Throttle body is VR6 one modified to work with a cable - works fine but would be better with a replacement throttle body - Air con not connected up after engine transplant I've been as honest as possible in the description. Car is located in South London in the CR4 postcode. Thanks for looking!

17. Relisting, Now 1 years mot and tax, wheels now as new (Spit and Polish Tonbridge) Offers over £2200 considered. My mother bought this car new in 1992. She has maintained the car thoroughly and I have a comprehensive file of all service and maintenance work done including the original bill of sale and some major engine overhaul work (around £5,000 on an engine and gearbox overhaul at 118,000 miles). All work done by VW then John Bowles, a VW specialist in Sevenoaks. It has done 158,000 miles at a very sedate pace and is completely standard except the stereo. It is a two owner car including me, and I can answer any question about the cars entire history. It has never been in an accident so is guaranteed straight, it did have a replacement second hand wing and bumper (thanks shaunG60) when she got her foot stuck and nudged it down a wall in a supermarket however. The interior is fantastic, the following need attention to bring it up to a perfect example:- The thin strip (slam panel?) has some denting and paint missing under the passenger side headlight after the supermarket incident. There is a small patch of corrosion behind the driver side front wheel, shown in the picture. There are stone chips and signs of use here and there, no more than expected for mileage It's an Automatic (may be a good thing!) It has aircon fitted but it needs a regas The sunroof has something wrong with it, if it opens it doesn't shut again, it's shut and watertight at the moment. Overall a very clean, much loved, fast car that has been garaged all its life. Located Northiam East Sussex
18. Hi All Unfortunately, the time has come for me to reluctantly say bye to by beloved Corrado. I've had the car nearly 20 years and am the 2nd owner. I've been working away from home and so have not used the car for the last year or so and so have neglected it Really should have sold it a while ago but am quite attached to it. Its now sitting in Barnet, London. The engine runs amazingly - even after not being started for a while, connected the battery and its starts with the first turn. Its green, has a sun roof (motor works, but one of the side arms has snapped so needs replacing) There may be a problem with the clutch as its been sitting for a while - it seems to be stuck intermittently. There is no rust on the outside apart from one spot on the rear window. The spoiler still works. Inside is clean and tidy. Has no MOT or tax. Would be good for someone who wants a bargain Corrado. Anyone interested in taking it off my hands for £500? Would like to see it going to someone who would get it back on the road rather than break it. She still has lots of life in her! Mamps rado.pdf
19. Corrado 1.9 G60 4stage corrado for sale. 1991, full leather karmann interior. Would like to sell before the 31st of May due to having no storage! Very reluctant sale due to not long having the engine rebored, new pistons, piston rings, new crank + many more engine parts replaced along with a stage 4 supercharger! Not many miles done on the new engine as been in storage since. It has also got new tyres, brakes and pads. It does need a few minor things doing to it but I haven't got the time anymore being self employed and two kids takes all my time up now, any interests please contact me 01885400364, 07969866285. £2,995
20. Unfortunately the time has come that I have to sell my Corrado :( It has never failed me, I just don't have the time or space for the continued love and maintenance it requires any more now that I have moved. I don't know what more to say on top of what I have listed on ebay so I shall link it: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111303385539 As I need a quick sale I will let it run with no reserve, though I will pull it early for offers around £950 ono. Thanks for looking!
21. After 2 years it has finally been given its marching orders by the wife. It was running before being garaged, but was only supposed to be temporary until i got around to finishing it. Would rather one of you guys have it for spares/repair rather than it just dissapear or end up scrapped. I have tried to restart it but the immobiliser seems to have reset itself and despite trying a few of the tricks cannot seem to activate it at the moment. Its a 93(L) 2.0L 16V in Black mileage from memory was about 126K, all as standard even original springs put back on, standard espodril wheels (need restoring. Interior is in good condition, as for panels Front bumper has been replaced, drivers door has been replaced but it wasnt the best so would look to replace that, Not really interested in breaking it for spares as i need to clear it from the garage. Will get some pics uploaded if anybody is interested, i am not looking for much for it as i said, i love Corrados so would rather let you guys have it than it tragically end up on the scrap heap or with somebody who wont give it the respect it deserves. I am in Hereford HR2
