Recommended Posts

Hello Folks,

I was wondering what would be involved in upgrading the brakes on a sirocco mk1 with some G60 numbers.

cheers for any advice in advance

(I am assuming it uses mk1 git hub.....)

U need a braket to attach the g60 caliper carriers to the hubs. Using the 256mm carrier of an audi80 is a much easier conversion.

On My MK1 Scrocco G60 i used the TSR upgrade kit that gave 285mm front discs with original calliper. This combo works very well. Incidentally this car is for sale if anyone is interested?

yeh TSW sell brackets that space the caliper out, allowing for bigger discs.

bigger calipers would be nice too. i'd go for the audi conversion.
