BMW E36 Headlights...LET THE MISSION BEGIN!!!!

From what I hear it is somewhat easy. Cheesey wasn’t too much help since he actually didn’t do the swap himself. He had a shop do it for him. Anyways, here is a link that I have been looking at to give me a better idea on how it is going to work. Wiring is also going to be a little time consuming to figure out too, especially if you are going to be running angel eyes and want all 4 lights to be on when the brights are on.

E36 angel eyes with chrome internals and plastic lenses. gotta somehow fit my indicators in em which might be a prob.

Cheesy,do you know wot bulbs they take? Are they h4?

And cap means bonnet!!!!!

Also how much where yours and are they gunuine bm? I bet i bought the wrong ones :roll: Il make em fit,whatever it takes,there goin in :lol:

H7 i think bulbs are

 

are they the ones from bmwspecialist?

 

Mine are inpro, poorly built.

 

let me know what yours are like as i wanna change to these.

I wanted to run h4 in main bulb and mod the other side to use indicator bulb.Might have cut the h7 housing bit off and bond a h4 one on :roll:

Got the lights today and by fluke they accept h4 bulbs which makes it easy for me 8) Il post a pic when they are in :mrgreen:

No they have a sticker saying they take h4.Which means the other light is redundunt so i can fit my indicator in there 8)

Just need to see how the spring for the mech has been bent out of way for lights to fit on yours.If you can take a pic of the mech on the slam panel from the top would be ace.

Looked through some of the pics of your car and they made a wicked job of the lights didnt they.Mine are just guna be bodged in compared to that :lol:
