RACK 0 Posted December 8, 2004 As I pulled up at the gym last night, I noticed I'd parked next to a Seat Leon Cupra R. I think I want one!!!! I reckon the lines of the car are similar to the C, and the front looks well mean! What do I do??? RACK

Henny 0 Posted December 8, 2004 they're lovely.... just don't ask about insuring one... :|
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted December 8, 2004 I'd probaly go for one too if they were 3 door. 5 door Golf GTIs always looked tame and boring next to the 3 door, and it's the same with the Cupra R imo.
RACK 0 Posted December 8, 2004 That's what put me off a bit too. Oh and not having quite enough at the min to afford one  Just wondered what other people thought of them?
Storm 0 Posted December 8, 2004 Work that finance chap. assuming £13500 for a nice car 3000 deposit 5130 residual 36 x 199 :D
RACK 0 Posted December 8, 2004 I would be able to get finance no probs, but and it's a BIIIIIG BUT..... I might be getting a house  Good bye cash  It's either get a house and keep the C or stay at home and get a Leon. I got a quote for insurance on the 225bhp model and for that fully comp it was about £50 cheaper than what I'm paying TPFT for the C. I know deep down I'll keep the C, and keep modding it
corradophil 3 Posted December 8, 2004 Very nice car, nicer looking and a little quicker than my Cupra. Have a look at seatcupra.net, lots of info on there.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted December 8, 2004 My advice is to keep the C and keep saving for when House prices come down, or move out now if can't wait any longer. The Leon will cost you a lot and lose you a lot and you'll bored of it within a month - and be stuck with your parents saddled with a car loan. A house is always an investment. Freedom and independance are worth more than a hot hatch to me

RACK 0 Posted December 8, 2004 Looks like I'll keep tuning the C within an inch of it's life  Hasn't dizzy rascal just re-done that song???
TomB 0 Posted December 8, 2004 They are nice, one of the few 'modern' cars I'd think about getting. IF I ever move on from a C, then it's either that or an Alfa 147...
