SteveM16v 0 Posted December 9, 2004 I've got about 7 dents in the usual spots down the seems of the doors. I've had a guy out to have a look and give me a quote (£70 seems reasonable). Problem is, he's said that the paint may chip when he pulls the dents - has anyone got any experience of this? Thanks Steve
Ice White Socks 0 Posted December 9, 2004 I had a good look through this forum before I got mine done and didn't see any mention about paint chips. I think these guys should use heat guns on the paint to make it softer, might be worth checking he is going to do the same. £70 sounds good too. too hot 0 Posted December 9, 2004 Most of these companies massage the dent out from the inside. With a bit of heat if necessary. Had mine done both doors and one on the rear quarter £50. So I would say £70 sounds ok. Makes such a difference too
