Neil L. 0 Posted December 16, 2004 Have just become a proud owner of 94' Blackberry VR6 :) - Now got to choose a set of rims - either Asev A's or Keskin KT1 ( or Klassik). I would prefer to go to 17's - i dont think 16's look good enough (bbs rz's 16's fitted). What are your thoughts on my choice with regard to car colour, size of wheel and what would these rims cost me?
Andi 2,147,483,647 Posted December 16, 2004 Well, certainly an excellent choice of colour, model and year :) And 17s are cool too. Mine's wearing Audi RS4s at the moment.

Neil L. 0 Posted December 19, 2004 Looks great mate! Oh! and thanks for the pics Warcraft - the car just been washed and chamoised and looks extra 8) . I'll look after U'r old car mate! These Azevs A's - are they available in the deeper dished variety? At the moment i'm slightly leaning towards the Keskins(KT1) - Tremendous looking wheel - will suit the C. down to the ground. How much will they set me back and whats the correct dimensions , et etc on the 17's?
Neil VR6 0 Posted December 19, 2004 Go for a ride with somebody who has 17s. I found them too hard so sold mine in favour of the original 15 inch BBs's
Neil L. 0 Posted December 19, 2004 My Escort RS Turbo has 17's(voodoos) - found the ride very hard as aposed to stock wheels althought it has Spax susp. I would have thought the profile of the tyre would make the difference - my C has 205 - 40 profile fitted (16's) - the same profile that most 17's would be fitted with. Are there other differences that will affect the ride?
warcraft 0 Posted December 19, 2004 the car had 17's fitted when i got it the ride was quite harsh but i changed them for the 16" bbs and the ride was noticeably better. car seemed to handle better too, turn in was sharper and less torque steer.
