_leon_ 0 Posted January 14, 2005 i've just paid about 32 quid including VAT for a serpentine belt (i.e. the one with alternator and supercharger runs on)... sounds like youre being quoted for the wrong belt tbh. the PAS belt is tiny in comparison - Supercharged's price estimate sounds more accurate... Banana Man 0 Posted January 14, 2005 I think your being quotyed for the wrong belt as well matey the part number you need is b 026 145 271 It's a v-belt and is 9.5x 730mm any halfrauds or motor factors usually keep them in stock and they are never more than a couple of quid. The belt is a Gates one made for VW, its 663x9.5 (but the nearest Gates will actually sell from the catalog is a 665x10) The part is 037 145 271 (for a G60 without A/C) Don't go to GSF or ECP as the one they list for a G60 is 650x10 and is too short!!
