Brando 0 Posted February 15, 2005 Cheakily, in a none thread stealing way, up for stealing ur RCs if u want some Porsche 90s :) Bally
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 15, 2005 I like the black detailing around the spokes....very old skool and cool.
Brando 0 Posted February 15, 2005 I love polished 90s on Dubs, they suit the mk1, Beetle and C if you ask me. There is a fantastic lhasa (sp?) green mk1 on clubgit (but I guess Riley prolly knows it). Didn't scruffy dubber have them on his LOW black g60?? Riley 0 Posted February 15, 2005 cheers guys, got em on but not sure i like em :? im a deep dish man at heart you see, thing is its crying out to be lowered now, dunno how much by but it does need it. bally,i got em for £500 with nearly new 195/45's and the adapters. plus the guy i got em off (steve) threw a load a bits in,rad, boost pipes, side repeaters, grill spoiler etc, sound as a pound. 8) brando,i know which mk1 you mean, its steves who runs volksdub, see pic. :D
stevemac 0 Posted February 15, 2005 Deep dishes float my boat - just need to get some for my 'rado instead of the 6 spokes. The Porsche rims look good on the Golf though.
Brando 0 Posted February 15, 2005 Looking good mate :) (hypocritically going to say it needs lowering!), I love that mk1........ must get one and soon!!!!!
ben16v 0 Posted February 15, 2005 that Mk1 looks well cool but the corrado doesnt look half as good IMO
Riley 0 Posted February 15, 2005 yeah im with you on this guys :( just thought id try sommet diffarent to what i normally go for, maybe i shoulda just stuck the 9x14's off the cab on there  neil.
Riley 0 Posted February 16, 2005 ok what do you guys think with the p/shopped drop? thanks to delgt on pvw. :D honest opinions appreciated,i think its a big improvement...
Brando 0 Posted February 16, 2005 I honestly like them on the lowered pic. I think they suit a black corrado, I wouldn't put them on my aqua blue tho. (I want some RCs if no one could tell)
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 16, 2005 Yeah I like those on the C but only cause they're partially black, compliments the bodywork. Non detailed 90s look boring on a C imo. Still think they look better on the MK1 though.
Riley 0 Posted February 16, 2005 cheers guys,im still unsure my self... :? think im gonna go for some coilovers and see what i think, sommet i need even if the wheels dont stay anyway. neil. :)
Bally 0 Posted February 16, 2005 Cheakily, in a none thread stealing way, up for stealing ur RCs if u want some Porsche 90s :) Bally Sorry mate, not for sale.. Not a bad price.. looks sweet, need serious slam!
gradeAfailure 0 Posted February 16, 2005 You should sooo keep the D90s, they're a beautiful rim when polished IMHO... Such a sweet looking 'rado, it's rather tasty...!
Riley 0 Posted February 16, 2005 cheers :D well ive now got some konigsports on the way,so ill have to see how it looks... neil.
Riley 0 Posted February 18, 2005 the porsche rims are growing on me :D cant wait till the konigsports arrive! washed it again today, then polished but it ended up being too dark for pics after the polish, and it rained as per usual
Sy_VW 0 Posted February 18, 2005 Nice looking Corrado and nice wheels (don't get me wrong)...... but in my opinion I would say they aren't the best suited together. I had a set of Design 90's on my G60 for a week or two then sold them and got the Turbos. On the mk1 Golf they look superb, but I feel they dont suit the Corrados curves as well. Another point would be that they have been kind of done to death. Still lowering the car etc will transform it into a really good looking car! Keep it up. Riley 0 Posted February 19, 2005 thanks m8,they do look better in the flesh i reckon, more shiny! like i say im not 100% my self, but still suprised at the general consensus, someone today said they look like wheel trims! :? i agree about the done to death, not normally the style of wheel id go for. ill get it dropped,if im still not sure ill be looking for some blocklights or sommet,i loves a deep dish really 8) and ill finish by saying, arent these things a fantastic motor to polish! still needs a few goings over with a polish with plenty of cut to bring the paint up to scratch, before i can start with the propper polish then the wax, mmmm. 8) neil. Skunklook 0 Posted February 20, 2005 Ahh, now who's the traitor! ;-) Looks quite nice matey, IMO, get the RH's off the cabby and swap them with the design 90's. Or put the original cross spoke stylie ones back on the raddo. I like those personally, 'specially when it's on it's RS! How's the mk1?
Riley 0 Posted February 20, 2005 Ahh, now who's the traitor! ;-) How's the mk1? aye,i hold my hands up m8,ya got me! hehe,9x14's on a corrado!?!?! 8) afraid the mk1 projects off,A7770VL wont be back :( mk2 goin alright??? neil.
Riley 0 Posted February 22, 2005 so i sent the other single wiper back, and fitted a storm one today. much better! 8) straight on,no messing or having to bend the linkage, and the sweep is fantastic,it works and is fast too! just need to trim the blade or use a diffarent one to get it to sit lower,or i may try parking it at the passenger side... couple latest pics too :D neil. edit:sorry i cant attatch more pics for some reason? my current background cant wait to lower/uprate the suspension
Riley 0 Posted February 23, 2005 fitted the momo wheel from the cab today. feels a lot better now :D ps:could any p/shoppers drop it in this pic? please  it really does need it!
