Recommended Posts

well believe it or not!

i need to choose between keeping this or the g60 :cuckoo:

both obviously totally diffarent cars but so much fun in their own ways...

1992 sportline,leccy roof,leccy windows,recaro interior,fully working mfa!

sporting the rh cups borrowed from the mk1,i have everything to put it back to standard including the black centered bbs ra's...

Isn't this a bit of a silly question to ask on here?

yes

real dilemma though, the mk1's real good fun with the close gearing and revviness, and the g60's heavy on juice but so much nicer to drive.

neil. :?

I think you'd have been better advised to think about this before buying the Corrado. To answer your question if you were entirely happy with Cabriolet ownership would you have started looking for the C in the first place.

aye you make a fair point m8,but the thing is i wanted to get a feel for the raddo while still having the oppurtunity to keep the cab...

thing is i cant bloody decide now though, theres no immediate rush to sell one or the other money wise but the neighbours arent best pleased

ive spent a lot on the sportline,all new front suspension/wishbones/steering rack/bushes/top mounts/engine mounts etc,etc...

also a new rear window frame @ £220! from gpc sat around waiting for when a new hood was supposed to be fitted.

theres a real annoting knocking noise on the passenger front somewhere, and with all the rain lately it hasnt been the best time to own a cab, suppose i just fell out with it a bit...

ps:is 148 miles to £30 of juice in the raddo sounding right?

neil.

Bloody nice cab though... there's gotta be other ways of keeping the neighbours happy (or you could move)

and no 148 miles with £30 doesn't sound right to me...

Yeah, I mean not enough... but if it's new and you're enjoying the G60 then it may just be a case of heavy right foot and big smiles 8)

Not having had any experience of the G60 I can't say for sure although for £30 I'd be expecting 200+ (I can get that out of my valver)

aye  my foot is a little on the heavy side,i used to get maybe 220 miles to £25 in the cab...

and 80-150 miles to £25 in the mk1

any good places up north to have the g60 set up and checked out?

cheers,neil.

£30 for 148 miles sounds okay to me, you won't get the kind of fuel economy from a G60 as you do from a 16-Valve, nowhere near! Mid-late 20s was always about right mine...

148miles from £30 is about what I get in my G60. This is also due to a lead foot.

The least I've had was about 30miles to a tenna.

I'm always wanting to track my mk1 down, but I soon forget when I boot the C and hear the Boost being dumped!

Keep the C mate
