DO I BUY A VR6?

Hello all, I am currently looking at buying a mint VR6, I'm a little concerned about the petrol consumpsion though. I would be driving around town so how much do you guys get per gallon? I currently have a williams clio, would it be a hell of a lot more?

Lets say you do 20,000 miles per year - assume you do 5mpg less - that works out about £8 per week more - small price to pay in my opinion - good luck in finding a mint one

Do it. One thing to bear in mind is that economy has to be a low priority with a VR6, around town they're not brilliant, 20 something. I use mine on long runs evryday and average 30. There's so many good things about a VR6 though, the sound...the refinement...the torque.

without trying to sounding elitist............this is a quote from a Porsche 928 specialist......"if you can afford the petrol you can afford to run it"............ok the 928 is v v low teens mpg :shock: :shock: :shock: but the VR is low-to-mid 20's round town(driving economically) and late teens if you hammer it round town...........so if you can suffer having to pay a bit extra on fuel over yer clio then go for the VR but tbh fuel ain't such a major issue with the VR as things that can go wrong now and again

Mint (near as you will prob get) Storm going out to grass very shortly. they wont come much better than this :wink: Will ge offered for sale to the CF only for a very short time, so watch this space :)
