The flexible spokes can be either softened or stiffened (during manufacture) for handling or comfort..... It's a revolutionary design but it's not pretty....can't see it taking off on mainstream cars. Industrial vehicles and offroad cars and bikes maybe. The Hub 0 Posted February 17, 2005 Obviously this would only be a prototype, so i see no reason for the final design not to have the tyre walls added back on to look like a real tyre again.
