front mounts

hi all ,i have an old front g60 mount spare and was wondering if it is possible to convert it into a solid mount ,im sure i read somewere that somone had done this mod,may involve some cutting and welding me thinks.or is it get a new solid mount,and weres best.

anyone out there tried this with good effects.

To be honest it aint worth the time or effect even trying when a new solid mount can be brought from Euro Car Parts for next to nothing.

my m8 is making me one soon, when he gets a spare hour or two, he is using original mount for a base
