vw sat nav

any of you guys know if its easy enought to install VW MFD (vers D or G) navigation into the Corrado?

Does the C have 2 DIN? or can we get past this?

 

anyone done this mod cos I cant find anything on the search :wink:

Have seen a C on vortex with this but IIRC they had removed the heater controls so it would fit - OK of you live somewhere warm enough but prob not the best idea in the UK

bin the ashtray, fit climatronic where that used to be, bingo, double DIN space!

 

I've got another DIN slot in mine, BELOW the ashtray.

Don't give up hope, as Phat and Phil mentioned you can re-move the ash tray and heater controls and it looks like it's factory.

I looked at doing this last year, but was too much effort and money so I opted for an aftermarket system.

nah, looks pretty simple to be honest... Once you've hacked about with the center console a couple of times, it's pretty easy to do stuff like that... 8)

 

Now, I wonder where I can get a complete sat nav like that one from... ;) 8)
