theRuler 0 Posted April 14, 2005 This has happened a couple of times. When i turn the ignition on, the abs light stays on, and the wipers wont work, nor the heater fan. Then later in the day it's all ok again. wtf is going on? today was the worst time for it to happen. i just made the 10 mile drive to work in the rain, with no wipers. Roger Blassberg 0 Posted April 14, 2005 Yes, it is called the load reduction relay, or X-relief relay; it's the one that cuts out various circuits during engine starting, including the headlights and indicators as well as the ones you noted.
