MikeVR6 0 Posted May 26, 2005 I've used the Meguires leather cleaner and conditioner for the last two years. Both can be bought from http://www.speeding.co.uk free delivery. I've also heard good things about Gliptone Liquid Leather. Apparently its excellent for restoring and cleaning. I've just bought a pack from E-Bay but haven't used it yet. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 59146&rd=1 Hope this helps

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted May 26, 2005 I treated my leather with the Gliptone stuff on Monday and it's really good. You get a bottle of cleaner, a bottle of conditioner and a free spongey key ring, LOL! Anyway, although my leather is exceptionally clean I still cleaned it and I was amazed when the cloth was black afterwards. The conditioner you just rub in until the seats fully absorb it and the smell in the car afterwards is amazing.....smells just like factory new leather. I recommend you use microfibre cloths for this, which can be bought from Tescos for a quid each.
Stormin Dave 0 Posted May 26, 2005 Gliptone stuff Excellent product. I've found other stuf like "Lord Sheraton" does O.K. but smells of almonds, nice if you like a marzipan car. But Gliptone wins the day for me.
john_wintle 0 Posted May 26, 2005 If you don't like the smell of the Gliptone stuff, then try the Swissol Cleaner and Milk feed.
Guest Posted May 26, 2005 How much John - need some as my Gliptone has run out
MikeVR6 0 Posted May 26, 2005 Just gave my leather the full Gliptone treatment. Jeysus it stinks! I've had to put two Neutradols in the car to tone down the leather aroma. Good stuff though. Amazed at how much dirt came out of my supposedly clean seats. The Swissol stuff will no doubt be equally as good and I bet it smells lovely (mmm coconut) Bet it's not a tenner though ;)

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted December 16, 2005 No Chris, it looks like two leather samples side by side..... You're just too dirty minded :-)
