Riley 0 Posted June 3, 2005 alright guys :D ive decided to go for said wheels,9x16 all round after having a couple p/shops done 8) . the thing is ive searched and seen many differences of opinion on et and tyre size. would anyone running this size and coilovers be able to measure how much room they have between wheel and coilover body? its just that on the mk1 i was able to stick to et35 when running 9x14's and coilovers,so what et do i want on the rado all round? im running fk konigsports, also any pics/opinion on tyre size,i dont mind a slight stretch. cheers, neil. :)
carpoid 0 Posted June 3, 2005 Black centres look amazing !! 9 is too wide tho dude, unless you don't mind them out of the arches or getting them pulled out....

Furkz 0 Posted June 4, 2005 9x16 et 15 with 205/40 tyres all round should do the trick nicely not feeling the black centres but flat caps is a must in my opinion
Riley 0 Posted June 4, 2005 cheers furki, maybe its the added sunstrip thats not looking right? its too black i think but anyway  yeah, flat caps will be a definate! et15 all round? and anyone any pics of there tyres? etc? thanks, neil. :)
Bally 0 Posted June 4, 2005 Black centres with flat caps.. I'd run 195/40/16's for the stretch!!!
Riley 0 Posted June 4, 2005 that would be a stretch!! if i run 205/40's will i have clearance probs? neil.
chrishill 0 Posted June 4, 2005 black centers yes...sunstrip no... I've got 205/40's on my 8" wide 17's and they do sometimes catch with a 60mm drop, although not much. what offset are the borbets? - edit - whats the little badge above your indicator? is that a german flag? Furkz 0 Posted June 5, 2005 Riley, to be totally honest: mine are cut-front rolled- rears another 91 g60 rolled flat- rears std- frot 9x16 all round rubbed like crazy on rears another 90 g60 rolled- rears std- fronts ran fine no rubbing another g60 sitting slightly higher than mine at the front required no arch work on the front on same rims all examples are given from cars ive seen running jus not named names, jus in case..... so it really depends on ya car mate tbh,,,so stick the wheels on and see what happens,,, jus budget for the worse and if ur arches dont require work its a bonus thats how i did it Good Luck
Riley 0 Posted June 5, 2005 thanks furki 8) yeah, ill just see what happens,i could at least run it a little higher if it catches anywhere for the time being. and if arch works needed id probably have a go myself :) ok guys, who did your arch work? thanks so far, neil.
