dr_mat 0 Posted June 5, 2005 Got a windows laptop? Get an OBD2 cable off ebay (£20-30) ( http://search.ebay.co.uk/OBD2 ) Download VAG-COM v311 ( http://www.ross-tech.com ) Bob's yer fully functional error code reading, engine performance graphing, measuring block reading uncle. If you don't have the late VR6 OBD2 connector (big centronics-type thing), then you'll also need to buy the 2x2 adapter. Any of the OBD vendors should be able to sell you one of those, or they're not too hard to make up. Diagrams are available on the net.
StormVR6 0 Posted June 5, 2005 If you are talking about the "Gunson" range then yes apparently they will work, well so says a auto-electrician I know. They probably don't state that it works on Corrado's because like so many other people they haven't heard of them!!

yalan 0 Posted June 5, 2005 the gunson's doesn't work on the 2.0 16v - BTDT (even though they do specify that it'll work on the 9A passat! - bizzarre)
corradophil 3 Posted June 6, 2005 I had no luck on my 2.0 16v either. Does vag-com v311 work on the 2x2 plug?
