NickVR6 0 Posted June 5, 2005 Before you start ripping into it........ I was sure, but now the new wheels are on it I don't like them. I am aware that I can very nearly walk under the car without jacking it up! Personally I just wish it worked at the momment  So what do you think :?:

Phil K 0 Posted June 5, 2005 Looks nice and clean in the pics.. I think those wheels look good tbh - not too fussy and will look all the better when you drop it 8) Also like you plate - JPEG!
NickVR6 0 Posted June 5, 2005 Cheers mate, nice to get a thumbs up from a pro. Gear knob was £6 off ebay. Not sure what it is but its understated, not far off teh original, came with the leather gater and the H pat lights up factory green! Steering wheel was £50 with boss from teh inters and the mats (edging on the bling) were £20 from some German nutter at there, he was a great laugh though. If you ment the back seats, i have a spare blakc mint set in the loft i amy have to sell to pay to get the f... thing working again!

NickVR6 0 Posted June 5, 2005 No 1 on my list is the drop once its working again. I think FK CO's or Kev's setup seems a winner too...?
Riley 0 Posted June 6, 2005 i can highly reccomend the fk konigsports m8 :D neil.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted June 6, 2005 I quite like the wheels actually. I think they'd look better if ride height was dropped a bit, nothing silly, about 40mm. Only things I'd change to suit my personal tastes would be a standard grille with black badge (and no VR6 chrome yukkiness), standard black mats, bit of black detailing in the headlights, lose the chrome yukkiness from the rump and that's it! It's a nice clean car mate, try not to be too dispondant....they're worth perservering with!
NickVR6 0 Posted June 6, 2005 As I said, matts are a tad bling, not sure why i bought them. I think it was to cheer me up in the inter rain! Just bought s-Charged's cc grill, but i still have a mint original at home, which i took off as its the blocked off one. Body work is V-Good as is the interior, which is the main reason i booght it, ie panel fit and originality after looking at so many dogs. My old man allways drummed into me that you can fix mechanical bits but bodyworks never the same again after its been munched! Good job too at the mo.... I am at the start of a long road mod wise, but I am very much for subtle stuff, normally expensive! Think RH's or bbs at some point, but ill trying dropping it first then decide. Got to try and gain some enthusiasm to get back to those fuel pipes first though. Im not going back into the garage until the weekend. Partly because im borrowing my old mans UR 20v Quat this week! Wheres the rain now!

That's sage advice mate and an ethos I've stuck to my whole driving career also. The oily bits are cheaper and easier to sort and are less visual. GIXXERUK 0 Posted June 8, 2005 very nice mate , i think the wheel shape exaggerates the ride height, i bet its a comfy ride tho, a slight drop would be nice the bodywork looks like its well worth sorting the oily bits
