Does this survey take into account the fact that there's more "prestige" brand dealerships per 100 garages in the south than the north I wonder?

In York, VW charge £70/hr + VAT. My local garage is about £34/hr inclusive, and I know some places that charge £20/hr.

It's not as grim oop North as the Ascot reviews would have you believe :-)

blimey, £20 an hour sounds cheap!

That list is for the most expensive, any ideas about the cheapest?

I have no faith in these big dealerships, I have always taken my cars to a 3 man band style garage and find that much better.

And apparently, you northerners have a higher standard of living so might have to move up there!
