Somehow I've missed this thread chap! Beautiful pictures, when the sky is clear like that, Scotland is hard to beat, nice to see some pictures of your (very nice) car too :D

Thanks for that, young man. :salute:

Lots have those feelings but may be worth squeezing another summer season out? I'm sure if you do decide to part company it wont stick around long. Have you had rear parking sensors fitted?

It's a great shame your thinking of selling up mate, hope you stick it out for another year at least, the summer is going to be magic for driving in. That shot at Glen coe looked the bee's knees btw

great pics :D

do you think the Fife fishing villiage could be Pittenweem ?

PS. It's almost certainly St Monance.

Yes, vornwend.

Fitted professionally several years ago. Up to date technology helping old git Corrado driver to avoid Tesco carpark chaos!

At the carwash today for "Executive Valet" lol!

No Rose at the carwash, but Yvonne insisted on charging only £40 instead of £45 as so little to clean.

Says she, "much easier to make a big impression on the owner with a valeted car after you have taken it in as a right minger!"

- well, I am putting into my own words, here!

Actually, the leather is not as white as that. The camera never lies, eh?

Over £400 spent on Corrado today - four new Dunlop Sport fitted, and intermittent ABS light problem fixed after dismantling and renewal of bolt.

Ach! Alex - never thought of this happening - you must be a real pest! (Kidding!)

As it's you - £50.

(£86 new, I see. I bought it new, so it only has a couple of slightly grubby pages!)

Sorry to see you sell up, craigowl.

I had a Classic Green Storm until December of last year, when I came off the road in hellish weather and wrote it off. I wish I could buy yours as I know that car's been well taken care of. All the best.

Thanks, Wiz!

You are down in Moffat now! Very rural - the nearest casino must be some distance away?

Anyway, good luck, and maybe you can cast a spell or two in both our directions.

Cheers,

Iain

Heheh. Beautiful Moffat, indeed. What a difference from EK, I can tell you.

I've changed jobs now, Iain. I'm a Train Driver! Bit of a departure, no pun intended, from casinos but a good one. I can still cast a spell or two though, your Storm wont hang around. David.

A train driver!

Sh!t we all wanted to be one of them 50 years ago, I can tell you. Ah! the age of steam - double-headers belching their way up to Beattock - the sound, the smell, the sooty smuts in your eyes!

OK - I'll calm down now.

By the way, in 1955 the driver of "Blue Peter" - now preserved - allowed me onto the footplate at Dundee Tay Bridge station to sound the whistle. We had just come up from York behind it.

Cannot imagine a similar scenario today - for several reasons!

Anyway, good luck and dont gamble on the signals - your previous occupation will not help you in the Court of Inquiry!

PS - I have a great contact on flickr - he is about the same age as me and was based in Leeds near where I lived. He was a signal man for about 37 years IIRC. He is putting up loads of photos - some back to the early

1960's. Very evocative. Will post you a link.

The technical jargon with this one kills me, but I love it.

Leeds, Geldard Road.

Fantastic. Great pics, cheers.

very ot, but what is the ultimate HiFi that you've reached?

A nice needle can eventually cost the same as a Corrado ;)

Cheers,

Redfox.

ps: keep the Corrado ;)
