got some ?'s about swaping vr6 to my g60 can anyone help

Fuel pump is the same........you need the engine, box, ecu, loom, abs is different too, basicly a donor car

gauges and wiring to the gauges WILL need swapping over too...

 

It's all a case of how close to a genuine VR6 you want it to be...

 

You can almost certainly keep the original suspension, brakes, ABS and a few other bits, but your brakes won't be as good, the handling won't be as good etc etc etc, It's all a case of why you're doing the conversion instead of just buying a VR in the first place... :?

Why don't you just buy a VR6? Surely it would be far less time consuming and if you ever need to sell you won't be selling a car that could be difficult to shift.

Why would you want to change a tuned G60 to a VR6 anyway!?!

I suppose from an American point of view, there's like BahnBrenner and that's pretty much it for G60 tuning (that I know of) but there's LOADS of tuners over there offering well priced VR6 turbo and supercharger kits....which give you a bucket load more power and torque than the G60. And everything over there is sold in DIY kits!!
