There can't be too many 24 year old VR Corrado owners called Tom that have ZW1's over here!

 

I wonder if that explains the noises I've been hearing from the loft .... ?

When I get my 24v in there'll be a few of us about, though I'd rather have an R32 lump ;)

 

it might not be happening yet,(for a while anyway) engine is for sale but i am thinking of keeping it as it took my ages to get it :lol:

at last some work has started on my car. i decide to take the dash out and start to fit the mk4 one in and i can say its a pain in the butt.

on the pic it looks like its almost in but in fact its no where near, i have still loads to do before its sitting right. :roll:

These things are never as easy as they look Scott :)

ITS NOW FITTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

well in place, it just needs fastening up and air vents pipeing up and it will be right. :D

 

oh and door cards modding to make it look more smoother.

I will have some leccy window motors and woring for sael shortly. will take the manual ones in part ex too.

s.g, Stunning work chap.. always fancied a Mk4 Golf dash in a C. Think it will bring the look right bang up-to-date ! Keep us all posted and keep the pics coming!

cheers for the comments chaps, there is still a far bit of work to be done yet i.e all the heater vents piping up, i think this will be a headache but i will succeed.

That dash looks brilliant mate. I thought the tt conversion looked good but loving the mk 4 dash cant wait to see it finished.

Thats just what i want to do if our engine goes seen one in a mk2 golf in pvw mag looked nice and tidy and apparently it weighs less than a 16v lump best of luck

the r32 engine has been sold now but a 4motion one has replaced it so i will still be going 24v :D ,

i don't think its lighter than the 16v but its lighter than the vr6 engine

i was just going by the mag but he might of had some weight chopped of his body or something it looks tidy though best of luck with your new mods post some pics when done
