I've done it,fitted a 'kr' 16v head on a 'PG' block using the G60 pistons, horribly low C/R,but i was boosting nearly 2 bar turbo press...,is it difficult?,well that's quite a loaded question, how skilled are you?,what tools do you have access to? do you have a garage?,....

1 thing is certain, the oil ways DO line up on the 'PG' block when using a 'KR' head,it's not the actual fitting,it's all the other small things that cause headscratching/swearing etc.

Far easier to fit low comp pistons in a KR/9A block. The 'normal' route to doing a 16VG60 as far as I am concerned is to start with a G60/PG and use a KR motor and go from there. A lot less parts to obtain.

Put 16V G60 into google and lose a day or 2 reading.

i may go with this route next year 270 bhp with boot loads of torque sounds good to me and bm sell kits that seem to take a lot of the headaches away.
