What's the rarest car you've ever seen?

i've got a Tatra 603-2 in the garage if that counts... found it in a field behind a service station near Winchester and rescued it for the princely sum of £100. it's currently 'off road' while the 2.5l aircooled V8 [read as loud as a b@$t@rd] and the acres of bodywork get an overhaul...

 

looking forward to roadtesting it as the 'Rado corners like it's on rails while the Tatra corners like an 18 storey tower block!!

i saw a yellow bugatti eb110 in 93 pass us on the motorway while i was in a coach or on the way back from bath. or the ferrari 250 gto that was on the ramp at the bodyshop where my mk1 was getting done a few years back-very rare and very very expensive!!!

i saw an enzo on the the m3 not so long ago, only glimpsed it tho as it was pouring with rain and we were both in the fast lane :D he was north bound i was south bound,

Saw a silver Merc SLR, pre launch, on my way home from work.

 

Yellow Lamborghini Gallardo always parked in Southampton near my work. Also saw a Murcielago last last summer.

 

Finally, saw a Zonda in Bristol - only seven in the country, I'm led to believe. The guy slowed down to let me take the picture.

Rarest car ive owned is the Capri Brooklands 280 Factory Turbo Technics, 1038 Brooklands ever made only 50 I believe were TT from the factory, 60mph in first gear and I just WISH I still had it.

well yesterday a mate asked me if i could go down to motor world cos he wanted to quickly borrow my head unit

so i go into town outside motor world (he is store manager) and he is talking to some oldish guy with and absolutely mint condition maserati (old one) have no idea what it was..think it was a 2.2 turbo,sounded absolutely gorgeous too!

i also noted to my mate that this old bloke kept looking at me and he said "its because he likes your car"!!!

Seen a Lambo Gallardo just driving normally in Kingston! couldn'y believe my eyes, or ears 8) Aswell as a couple Nobles, and a Murcielago on the A3, looked sweeeeet in true Lambo Yellow. Seen quite a few Bentley Continental GT's and Aston DB9's too :). Ive also remember seeing 1 car on the A3, not sure whether it was some kind of Countach or Lotus Esprit :wink:

In and around MK - 205 t16, McMerc SLR, Aston Martins - pretty much all of them, but the top ones for me are DB7 Zagato, DB9 test cars 12 months before release and a certain Aston DB9 Racing car (I work in Newport Pagnell!)

Saw a genuine Lotus Carlton a few months bak. Can't be that many of them on the roads?

No there isn't, because out of the 440 made, 430 were converted back to standard Carlton's so the owner didn't have to sit through the 2 hour ignition check :lol:

The Queens new State car - apparently Bentley made it from scratch for her at a cost of a cool 8 million

 

I saw it and her once down the side of the Unilever building in central london - was a bit of a shock on the way to work at 7 in the morning seeing the queen !!! Security was very low key and i walked within about 20 feet of her

i seen the wueen..she went to a high school one day which is about 50 metres away from where i live..and it was extremely strict that you couldnt go into the school unless you were at the school and theire were shit loads of her own police there...

but me and my mate still snuck in with espoinage,no joke in know that sounds gay..i could tell you what we did but i cant be assed...heck,we got NEAR the queen when we were not suppose to be in the school..just shows how easy it is to do things and to evade the queens very own police..man what we did wass funy as hell lol

okok..we went around the back entrance and there was a cop on the back gate.so we waited untill he turned around for a few secs then my one mate ran off into the woods towards the dual carrigeway,then i waited for till he turned around,then i pegged it (was proper metal gear solid i tell ya!)so we went through the woods onto the dual carriageway and at the end is a very small entrance to the school back field...and walla! we were in lol
