Wing Vents

i dont know what i think, on one hand i see the advantage of getting cold air in and all that

on some cars it can look good and others not so

thios i think looks good, but what do people think?

I like them aswell! Currently looking into it wih mine but particularly like them when the top vent follows the crease line in the wing

A big NO from me on that one!

 

It'd be a bit like putting a false air scoop on the bonnet or those Escort RS Turbo Vents that just stick on, onto a standard Kevscort!

They don't actually do anything apart from cool the inside of your wing? Make sure you've got a good coating of waxoyl inside your wing tot as rain will get in. Also, make sure any rain that does collect can drain away.

Neil G60, yup, you'd have to punch a hole through the inner wing too to get any advantage from a wing vent... That one in the first post, IIRC, HAS got an airway from the vent to the airbox though... 8)

 

I considered one on my car, but couldn't be bothered in the end...
