mkalajian 0 Posted August 31, 2005 This one is wieerrrrddd. For some reason now when i have the key OUT and i step on the breaks, the dash lights and one of the fog lights turn on. It didn't do this yesterday, and i didn't touch a damn thing since then. Maybe my car is haunted - any ideas? (oh its a 1990 g60) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

dinkus 10 Posted August 31, 2005 Well the brake lights will come on if you push the brake pedal, even if the key's not in the ignition, so it sounds like there's probably a short somewhere... maybe some water in the rear light cluster? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
corradophil 3 Posted August 31, 2005 Hmmm, funny electrical gremlins. In a Mk2 Golf a mate used to own, with the ignition off when you pulled the indicator stalk towards you and held it putting main beam on, the heater fan would run. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
