logicaltuning 0 Posted September 30, 2005 well i was having some thought yesterday ive been modding cars for 7/8 years now and everytime ive finished a car i wish i'd left it alone so what do you prefer, modified cars, or standard cars im not talking standard micras either, nice cars, corrados for instance

chrishill 0 Posted September 30, 2005 everytime ive finished a car i wish i'd left it alone  I'm not sure if thats a result of your taste in mods or not!
daves16v 1 Posted September 30, 2005 Mod the parts that should have been done at the factory - Corrado suspension, decent alloys etc then subtle mods only.
dutch 0 Posted September 30, 2005 I've noticed over the past few years my mods only consist of suspension and maybe a nice set of wheels....long have the days of endless mods ended for me....must be an age thing...
Nick 0 Posted September 30, 2005 i prefer a car to look standard, but nice enough to make people think; 'I bet that goes alright'. Rather than a load of chrome, 3 spoke alloys and undercar neons.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 30, 2005 Modified everytime.... a standard Corrado that was good 10 years ago just won't feel the same now, so at the very least the suspension needs modifying, but not necessarily lowered to a huge degree.
rmn 0 Posted September 30, 2005 standard body modded engine/chassis all the way, same on all cars in my opinion not just vw's
Henny 0 Posted September 30, 2005 minor body and interior tweaks, quality suspension upgrades and serious engine power upgrades are the way my thinking goes these days... 8)
GIXXERUK 0 Posted September 30, 2005 modded definitely ( i dont mean goal posts on the rear tho) :-) tasteful mods , not the body though suspension ,bushes, leather etc the stuff i would do anyway but would save me ££ if its done ;-)
chrishill 0 Posted September 30, 2005 subtle mods that are undetectable to people who arent enthusiasts, things like flaired arches, audi handles, de-wipered rear, clear repeaters and so on are all fine and dandy in my book, they just bring the car up to date. IMO the corrado doesnt need much styling to improve it, as has been said, lowering + the right alloys does wonders.
