Just passed 75K.. but with a replacement engine becasue the previous owner was (apparantly) clueless :)

My VR is on 155,564 and can still pull the needle off the clock!

Did a head gasket a few weeks ago and checked out the bores, they were all like glass, smooth and unscored, mint!

and that's with using a charger & nitrous!

shame the bushes don't last as well though chris :( - the engine certainly can handle it thoguh cos the bores were surprisingly good.

Corrado Heaters are awesome...... not many of the people I cart around in mine can stand the heat for more than a minute, even in this weather!

i bought it off the previous owner about 4yrs ago,he mainly used it 4 travelling up and down the country. It had 212,224 miles on the clock when i got it with full vw history,never crashed or painted! ive had a s/h engine put in about 500 miles ago cos the bottom end was on the way out,but im gonna have it rebuilt and then put the origanal engine back in. someone might know the car? i got it from Little Hampton nr surrey and now its living down in good old sunny cornwall!! :D

Plus VF-engineering front mount ordered.

Getting painted when other bits done.

corrado one - 130,000

corrado two - 130,000

vr spare 1 - 45,000

vr spare 2 - 50,000 (Guess)

AAA block - 80,000 (Guess)

 

That makes a grand total of 435,000miles covered on the engines in my garage :D
