r4daylee 0 Posted October 31, 2005 Slow Down Geezzzaa.... Hi Will... I'm curious... am I too take it that u r 100% happy in your purchase, and would I also be correct in sayin, and I'm only quotin' sum-1's words here, I'm not a 'DODGY CAR DEALER'.... Would i be correct in tellin' all these VW Rado Fans, I sold u a peach, complete with.. Original Rear Light Clusters, Brand New Replacement Shock Absorbers, which I told u were there to b replaced before u test drove, the original sunroof, so should u wish 2 replace the Audi Tinted Glass1, u can... did I not pop £20 of the new 99 octane fuel in the tank, just cos.. did i also say should you wish to PX it back with me in the next 12 months for something else i would still giuve u the 3k u paid back on it.. depending on condition of course... I'm not tryin 2 blow somke up my own ass here guys... the gentleman that bought it... well he's a man thats happy, by the sounds of it.!! takin it 2 my grave was a giveaway there.. but more importantley.. he got the Nicholas Parsons (Sale of the Century)... it was a deal, it was a steal.. infact f*** it, i wash i'd bought it myself... he..will that is... had the cahoners, the balls, to grab a chance and buy a nice fast car, whatever i described it as.. cos he new wot it was... instead of gossiping amongst others as 2 wot it could be.... theres a valuable lesson here... not everyone who has a car showroom, and a bracelet, rolex watch and a flashy M5 is a dodgy car salesman, maybe 1 or 2 of us r genuinally hard working, truthful, honest and willing 2 make an honest profit... i myself am 35, have never signed on, worked hard for 20 years, and made a success off myself.. and the only way to do so..is honestly... William, as I said before, i hope u have many years of safe fun motoring, and please keep in touch.. ur's forever tryin 2 sell motors, r4 dayleee.. Walesy 0 Posted October 31, 2005 Chill r4daylee, . I think it was me who used the phrase " dodgy car salesman "..and if you look back you'll see that the context it was used in wasn't saying or implying that you are a dodgy car salesman....I said to double-6s before he had met you and seen the car that if he did meet you and you were a dodgy car dealer and the car wasn't as described then don't let a bad feedback mark push him into buying the car....as it was , he went and met you, saw the car, and has been over the moon ever since. And it also seems that you have another well priced raddo , and offering a 12 month warrenty is great (( some might say brave with regards to a corrado  )) So, no-one's called you a dodgy car salesman that I've read . :)
double-6s 0 Posted October 31, 2005 i reckon we should stop all the 'tone' going on here eh? we're all in this together! i'm happy as larry with me car - wouldn't have bought it otherwise. this all started because mr daley didn't know the correct description - i'm sure there was never any dodgy intent. he's just not an enthusiast. but now he does know! the car is lovely - a few minor things to sort that i saw (and was told about) before the sale but only minor. it's all good - another rado vr driver happy, mr daylee happy and re-educated (!) (as am I) - and I've already learned loads about my new baby on here! all. good.
double-6s 0 Posted October 31, 2005 sorry, call me dumb, but expresso machine?? you lost me brudda! the rado??
Walesy 0 Posted October 31, 2005 exactly  , the only 'tone' in here is from r4daylee, no-ones implied that he is anything other than an un-informed seller, no crime in that, and it sounds and looks (( from the advert )) like you got yourself a bloody good buy!!.. :D enjoy!. :D
double-6s 0 Posted October 31, 2005 yeah it's all good. she's lovely. and how's this for sod's law - I now have to drive a transit all day as i'm moving house! i want to go roundabout hunting.......

dinkus 10 Posted October 31, 2005 Drop on H&Rs is about 30mm and it rides firmer than standard, but not harsh and crashy at all. The car is definitely much more planted on the twisty bits too ;)
