Muchos respect then mate, I bow down to anybody that does their own work on their car :notworthy: , especially to that sort of degree.

Yep I second that one about more pics of the interior, it looks really nice, and all the better for you doing it yourself.

is the dash covered in leather???

thanks everyone ,as you can imagine it took quite a while to do and it wasn't without the odd mishap, the inspiration for the whole interior in cream was a mk3 golf doing the shows this year ,looked amazing and was miles better quality than mine ,think it was an mj interior hence amazing ,ill try to get more pics tommorrow of the interior ,did anyone notice it isn't a raddo dash ? thought i would be getting grief for that ???!!!!??! dash is covered in leather and was a bitch to do , i also did the headlining and a,b,c pillars and parcel shelf , ill get pics of them tommorrow ,thanks again for the comments it makes all the grief worthwhile ,

Welcome to the forum... it does look good and the mk3 golf (?) dash with TT gear surround looks cool too 8)

I would say that your mirrors are weak point though like you already said... MX5 mirrors will look much better...

thanks phil k ,i think mx5 mirrors look cool ,just a bit pricey !!! quite like raddo mirrors with the black bit flushed in ,it is a mk3 dash with tt surround and knee bars and mk3 tunnel trim ?!! and an audi handbrake sleeve ,funny cos i could never get the raddo tunnel trim thing to sit right but the mk3 sits nice and tight ,still has raddo clocks on mounts and im currently fitting aircon too thanks for looking

Yeah - credit to you mate - clearly a lot of time and effort gone into that.

I reckon seeing as its sporting Audi paint, and an Audi style interior, a set of Audi wheels (like TT comps or something) would set it off a treat!

the dash was roughly the same size ,so it wasn't too bad to fit ,the wiring is quite similar so that was okay too , i found an airbag panel so i didn't have to have the glovebox there ,hopefully ill get one of the lower ones, the wheels on it are artec wheels brought from styledynamics on ebay a while ago ,ive re polished the outer rim and i might paint the centres glossy black ,opinions please ,what colour do you lot think i should do em ,more pics soon ,cant seem to get back before we lose light !!! crappy winter !!!!

I think you've done a great job so far - funny to see a project car pop out when it's so far down the line, we normally get snippets when they're still just rolling shells in primer :)

If you want my honest opinion, I'm with the Welsh One on the lights - all-red tints would look sweet, half-tints probably would too.

I also think the original wing mirrors are a lot nicer - sorry!

I like the sound of the black-centred alloys as well. Will the design let you get away with that OK? Sometimes the join between spoke and rim doesn't let you get away with a 2-tone wheel.

Personally I'd ditch the eyebrow spoiler but that's personal preference. I like them on Mk1/2 Golfs, but never liked them on Corrados - they always just seem unnecessary on such a nice car :)

And this might seem to contradict what I just said, but I like those rear "spoilers" that go at the top of the rear windscreen - not really a spoiler as such, they just look like they bring the roofline lower down the back of the car.

For some reason I think, in that colour, it would look awesome with the arches rolled a little wider (if you've got the wheels to fill them).

Also with that colour, I think the side bumpstrips would also look good and help break up the light colouring a little.

These are all simply personal preferences though - I think you've done a great job so far! Can't fault the interior.
