billinjah 0 Posted November 9, 2005 has any one got the part number for an accelerator pedal rubber vw cant find it but ive seen them up on ebay for a silly price and these things are normally cheaper in the stealer!
mr.ots 10 Posted November 9, 2005 I didn't think the accelerator pedal had a rubber as standard, my car doesn't have a rubber just the metal pedal. There doesn't appear to be a rubber listed for the accelerator pedal on etka, only for the brake and clutch. Maybe the ebay ones are an aftermarket mod. billinjah 0 Posted November 9, 2005 i think they are off a diff vag model but my valver has a nasty pedal set on it so i need to remove this and cover the holes!
cymru-corrado 0 Posted November 9, 2005 my 16v had the accelerator pedal rubber thing.all it is, is a plastic cover that kind of clips/slides on. not worth getting better investing in some tt pedal rubers.got mine from vag parts and they look the part. Kevin Bacon 5 Posted November 10, 2005 It's from a MK2 Golf. Got one on mine too, looks a lot better than shiny, worn metal. Feels better under foot too.

Madjackal 0 Posted November 11, 2005 What's the best way to go about getting/fitting aftermarket pedals. I want to update mine but obviously drilling in to the originals is required as its hard to see where is safe to drill, if that makes any sense. Any one got pics of theirs? billinjah 0 Posted November 11, 2005 the tts are a nice update and fit as per the std ones no drilling required.
