I don't know how someone could ever call a BMW a bumbling mechanical wretch - typical American car / brand bickering - they're all really bad for it! I can't think of many more cars i'd rather own than something like an M3 or an M5!

My mate replaced his awesome G60 with an m3 about 2 months ago and proceeded to plant it into a wall.

 

I went for a ride in it before he killed it and I have to say, it was a beast......but I still dont like them....though I would agree they are a stunning piece of machinery.

But the yanks seems to be obsessed with this brand-identity crap. BMW's are very good bits of machinery, but the people who drive them are usually (not always) tossers.
