colinstubbs 0 Posted February 1, 2006 I'd have gone with the same selection as BigTartanJudge, some surprises there then!!
chrishill 0 Posted February 1, 2006 the getz vs mini isnt 'too' much of a suprise, mini's arent mini anymore, I'd imagine the getz is made from chipboard and chewing-gum, so much lighter with the same size engine.

kenc 0 Posted February 1, 2006 NO WAY WOULD A 1.1 AX BEAT A 1.3 SR NOVA NO WAY
Furkz 0 Posted February 1, 2006 kenc, true them novas were pretty nippy
ZippyVR6 0 Posted February 1, 2006 My 1.4 ax was a rocket. just dont try and steer it once it had gone off. I can well believe a 1.1 would show a nova a clean pair of heals.
ardandy 0 Posted February 2, 2006 It was the Nova 1.3 SR and the test was 0-60, not top speed or anything. These are from Autoexpress Magazine, I doubt they've fiddled the results.
steve_16v 0 Posted February 2, 2006 I beat a few 1.3 SR's in my AX 1.1i (got given it as a first car), they're surprisingly fast!
coullstar 0 Posted February 2, 2006 How many gearchanges were involved, were they all RR'd to see if they were running right, new clutches... theres soo many variables to these tests and whats the point anyway. Half off them are geared for town driving anyway, why not do 0-100 etc.
Trig 0 Posted February 2, 2006 AX1.1's are REALLY low insurance group as well. Like '1' or something.
