To add to the long list of things going wrong with my car at the moment, the Clutch now needs replacing! :( I have been quoted £500.00 for a genuine VW Clutch Kit inc Fitting. or £330 for a After Market LUK Clutch! Kevin Bacon 5 Posted February 16, 2006 Eagle eyes! :-) In the case of the VR, I'd always use a genuine one as the patterns, despite being made by the same supplier to VAG, are sheeeite. I'm not getting into how many I've had replaced under warranty.....suffice to say, the last one was done 20K ago and was VAG and is perfect. I would also recommend replacing the flywheel (£75 exchange) to ensure all mating surfaces are 100% true, or you might get judder problems. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
