I think it is at 40, but I can't confirm that, my spoiler doesn't go up automatically :lol:

Have a search, but it's something like 43mph on early cars and 54mph on later ones (they work out as nicer numbers in kph).

Mine goes up at exactly 50mph indicated. I've always considered it odd but never bothered to look into it. I consider myself fortunate that it works at all.

I always thought the earlier ones came up at 45mph? Mine always rises at exactly 46 (indicated)

The Spoiler itself rarely goes wrong, there's nothing to it, mechanically speaking.

 

The controlling electronics are the biggest problem, but usually only when people wire up the radio antenna wire to the speed sensor cable by mistake....or something along those lines!

I've been experimenting with the speed sensor for the stereo and the spoiler!

 

I tried a few diodes on the speed sensor wire from the headunit previously, but to no avail. But since installing a Blaupunkt headunit both the speed dependent volume on the stereo and the auto spoiler are working perfectly without the use of any diodes or anything :D
