crdo16v rises again

Good news for a change-met the guy who plans to put my old rado from the breakers (after insurance "write-off") back where it belongs-gracing the road. He has got the necessary parts & is already getting to work. Got it runnin' last night & it was a very good feeling to think he has the skill & knowledge to see it through. He will of course put it thro' the necessary tests to get it on the road.

He is planning on a complete respray in original Tornado red & I could see his genuine enthusiam for a great car.

Thanks guys, it just shows that despite appearances it's not always as bad as you think, chasis is still within tolerances despite a hard side hit & everybody walked away relatively unharmed.

I will tell the new guy about the forum when I see him again.
