willg95vr6 0 Posted April 24, 2006 well the driver side suspension top turns on my corrado vr6 95 when the steeering wheel is turned, is this a sign of the top needing replacing or is this normal. and Can this be the cause of my car pulling to the left and not the steering rack after all cheers Will
jon 0 Posted April 24, 2006 The strutt tops are supposed to turn, they have a small bearing in the top to allow this. As for pulling to the left you may just need the tracking checked/adjusted
lottysvdub 0 Posted April 24, 2006 top mounts are not hard to do , if you havent changed then then its worth doing them as they can cause a multituded of noises and problems when worn

Mike Edwards 0 Posted April 25, 2006 If the top plate (visible in the engine bay) is the only thing turning - along with the damper rod and top nut - you don't have a problem. I fht erubber top mount below these is turning as well when the car is on its wheels you do have a problem.
