Taggart 0 Posted May 19, 2006 Insured the car as of next Tuesday, only got the lights to fit and the slam panel to change this weekend then it should be roadworthy. Bit nervous though... I've been stuck driving a £50 mondeo and a 1.4 polo for 5 months, and the C is a bit of a different animal! (especially considering last time I drove her I crashed and burned)
bcstudent 0 Posted May 19, 2006 Yeah, but you've driven it loads of times and NOT crashed. The odds are in your favour chap. Enjoy.

Taggart 0 Posted May 19, 2006 Your car is a Phoenix then if it burned and came back to life :-) I suppose it didn't quite burn :-) It's almost like getting a new car, hope I don't miss the Schrick too much, better start saving for a snail :-)

Taggart 0 Posted May 22, 2006 Decided to get the ride sorted this time before the engine, so got rid of the shrek, and bought coilies. It's pretty much ready, and the insurance have just given me another grand, so I'll have to decide what to spend that on. ATM it's either new rimmage, put it towards a respray or get an 32" LCD TV (obviously not for the car)
Bojmobile 0 Posted May 22, 2006 Best of luck mate - you'll be unable to wipe the big grin off your face when you get out in it and hear the noise again!
