Trim/Badges Questions

I'm removing the side trim on the C and my bodyshop just wanted to make sure they were stuck on and that theres no holes in the bodywork for them to sit?

 

There's no holes to fill are there?

 

Also, I need new rear badges. A VR6 one and a Corrado one. Where are the best places to get these? I'm assuming the Corrado silver originals are impossible to get new/nearly new now?

There's no holes for the side strips, they're stuck on.

Don't know about the silver badges, they may still be available from the stealers.

 

If not a company called trimsport do some very good replicas, you will just need to go and get some sticky pads from Halfrauds as they do not have any adhesive on the back.

 

E-bay may be a touch expensive as the rear badges should not be more than £10 a pop from the dealers and thats with sticky stuff.

I have the corrado script body colour badge but wanted to try and keep the styles thats on now as mines faded.

 

Stealers stopped doing the badge 18 months ago. :sad:

Chrome script badges are very difficult to find now. Just keep your eyes peeled. I'm after one too...

 

VW still do the VR6 ones and the primed script badge, ready for coding.

Just ordered the rear vw badge and the VR6 badge from the golf Mk3,

 

Have to stick with the script badge!

i picked up a full set of badges from vw the other day...the only one thats NLA is the chrome corrado badge.

im sure i read in PVW that euro car parts or gsf do VR6 badges £8? it might of been the VW badge.

The VR6 badge from Vag is £6 and the rear vw badge is £10inc vat.
