thought id post a couple of pics showing the fruits of my labour this weekend...

 

sub box built and fitted along with new solid floor and carpet... overall very happy...

 

before i seal the box totally was wondering if i should fill it with foam or such like... or stick egg box foam onto the inside???

I found that stuffing the box made no difference to the sound my sub made. The main thing is that it's screwed, glued and sealed up nice. Looks very tidy :)

How did you mold the back into the space ?

 

Looks very neat.... thinking of doing that myself in the new car.

catch_twotwo i basically removed the carpet and covered the space with masking tape, any area's that where not solid i covered with cardboard and then taped over....i then basically fibre glassed the entire area the end mold fits very snug in place.... easy honest!!!

 

fla i tried the handles but am afraid they where about half inch short so would require body work... which wasnt the idea. if im doing body work will have proper audi handles fitted... bit of a shame really.....
