Where is the fuel relay located on the VR6

Can any one tell me whare abouts it is located, i have a 95 vr6. is it one of the ones behind the glove box if so which one is it.

which one is the fuse relay on the 94 vr6. Fuse box is on drivers side, and the fuse numbers seem different also?

Its located at the bottom right of the board, relay 167.

i have just noticed the fuse relay is still the bottom right as supercharged said but its is a different number. you can tell if you take it out you will find it had the same pin lay out. it is the only one that fit

thanks for that. Mines made in Portugal as oppose to Germany - what difference would this make..im guessing that it would mean that mine is not a genuine VW part?

I have just found that one of the metal connectors on the fuel relay 167 is loose( compared with the others) - could this be the culprit for the hesitation across the rev range most of the time?

 

How much is a new one of these?

 

worth changing the ECu at the same time. Whats the correct number for ECU also.

Yeah change them both, the Portugal will be genuine but they had some quality issues... on a VR I think both relays come to about £30
