Toad 0 Posted September 28, 2006 I was reading through EVO last night and started looking at the pictures of the Aston toward the back, and thought I recognised the wheels, it turns out they're speedlines!! They look bloody good for a 13year old design! I haven't got a picture, but i'm sure someone will.....

Toad 0 Posted September 28, 2006 yeah, they're the same as the old VR6 wheels aren't they?
Mave 0 Posted September 28, 2006 almost the same. the end of the spokes are a bit wider than the vr6's. still look alike though :)
herisites 0 Posted September 28, 2006 Better pic yeah they are similar but not the same, they will be just a tad wider as well i think
Toad 0 Posted September 28, 2006 10 x 18 and 11 x 18 if i remember correctly. wonder if they'd fit?? :D
herisites 0 Posted September 28, 2006 They're 18's  they look small in the astons arches! And yeah just a bit wider. I think you would need some silly arch work done to get them to fit  Rob.

Stan 24v 0 Posted September 29, 2006 Corn, I know, but the AM Virage had Scirocco rear light clusters :) http://www.astonmartins.com/virage/virage.htm and the TVR Griffith had upside down Cavalier tail lights  http://www.kstroud.fsnet.co.uk/Images/C ... corner.jpg
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 29, 2006 In the same copy of Evo, you will also notice the new Mitsi Evo FQ360 is also sporting Speedlines, which are almost identical to the VR6 ones. Interestingly enough, the VR6 speedos are available in 16 and 17" guises, but only for 4 stud french cars.
Mave 0 Posted September 29, 2006 remember that bus with the corrado rear lights on top?
Lippy 0 Posted September 29, 2006 kevHaywire, what do you mean 4 stud french cars mate? do you mean the centre bore is different? would be interested to know where you can get them?
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 29, 2006 Yeah, Peugeot, Renault and Ford fitment only. It's the 2110 SC challenge wheel on http://www.speedlinecorse.co.uk I think Ford PCD is the same as VW 4x100? So if the CB is smaller, it can be easily bored out to 57.1 If the PCD is larger than 57.1, you'll need Spiggot rings.
The_Dude 0 Posted September 30, 2006 If you ask me that Aston looks quite a lot like a 350Z with thos wheels on. I'd still have the Aston though.
