Ibiza Brembo Brakes - 4-stud fitment

Can anyone who has fitted these tell me what mounting bolts I need?

 

The standard VW ones (35mm) look to be too long.

 

Do Seat sell the correct length, or do I need to contact one of the firms selling these as upgrades?

just measured mine the length of the thread is 25mm and the bolt head is 18mm, i have nt got any part numbers sorry.

 

got mine with a group buy and they came with them.

Your best bet is to saw them down Mike. They don't take too long to do with a decent hacksaw and a file.

Sawing down the bolts?? just go and order the audi RS2 bolts... Jurgen his reply above this one.. "4x N.100.880.03 and 4x N.100.650.02" If you spend your cash on good brakes use new bolts ;)

While my car's in bits I may well do this conversion before fitting the 2 litre engine and new pulley/intercooler/other odds and sods! :D

Those are RS2 bolts, Blux ;)

Right, they're on at last.

 

I'm going to need to get the driver's side brake pipe replaced (had to use a blow torch and mole-grips to undo the original fitting), but otherwise no problems.

 

After some bedding in all I can say is JESUS H CHRIST!!!! :shock:

 

It's the 1st time I've ever felt the springs on the front coilovers compress under braking (they are a LOT stiffer than standard).

 

It's also the 1st time I've managed to get the fronts to lock at speed on a straight dry road with a good surface.

 

They work "quite" well... :D

ET30.... that looks like a fine size!

The 16" wheel may be sufficient, the offset may be fine, but the shape of the spokes may mess it all up.

 

I have ET35 7.5x17 wheels and the spokes only just clear the calipers.
