Corrado_Addict 0 Posted October 25, 2006 Hey folks Unfortunately this isn't a corrado so your probably dissapointed already lol But for now this will have to do for a while until I start my quest to get myself a g60, took me a while to decide on which model to go for, as the vr6 noise is just sheer car porn for me lol, never had the pleasure of experiencing a g60 as of yet but hopefully that will change. Anyway getting carried away with corrados already and I ain't even got one yet haha, all good. But for now this is my 1st car, have owned it for over 2 years now, its off the road just now due to having a small accident with a tree, in which a greasy road and nankang rubber wasn't a good combination. So for the past few months or so, as well as working on my music I've been working on the car, its a peugeot 106 Zest 1.1 multi point, fairly nippy and will keep up with the 106 quicksilvers as well as a few other bigger engined cars. So i've been stripping it out, so now the car no longer has any sound proofing inside what so ever, even the roof lining is out for some big plans. I always wanted to have a car that stood out from the rest so this is it, thought I can't sell it without finising it 1st. I've got plans to turn it into a complete track car when I get my corrado so a tuned gti engine shall be dropped in. muhahahaha As you can see from the pics its fairly empty inside, so it should be even nippier now, even though it will be a 1.1 for a while, will still be fun driving it. Anyway the plans are to make a replica of a spanish 106 rally car which involves a full red and white respray then it will be booked in to get its vinyls on, as well as a gti bodykit, gti spoiler and small lower hatch spoiler, along with 2 bucket seats, racing wheel etc. And a couple of other unique touches too hehe. What you all think?
dukest 0 Posted October 25, 2006 hello mate, I've still got the 106 XS I had for 7 years before I bought the C. I can't quite bring myself to sell it as it's still a lot of fun in London and takes the speed bumps and potholes alot better the Corrado! Trying to decide what to do with it myself, was thinking of a move towards a rally spec or at least just some general tweeks to smarten it up. The 1.6 engine it's already got is probably enough once it's had a few bits but i'm sure sticking a GTi engine into yours will be a lot of fun - get you ready for the G60! Not sure i'll strip it out as much as you but how much difference have you noticed after taking everything out?

Corrado_Addict 0 Posted January 15, 2007 Aye didn't wanna spend all that money kitting it up, no point in all honesty. Its still in the present state, and will be on the road this month but from what i've read the back end will be really light when driving "enthusiastically" lol But hoping to have my g60 before the summer, really really reallyyyyyy can't wait
