Yandards 0 Posted October 27, 2006 Thats going to be a bit of a monster sleeper if they stick a standard front end on it.
CorradoDriver 0 Posted October 27, 2006 HOw does that work?? 2 engines? how do you connect them together
Dub_nut_g60 0 Posted October 27, 2006 1 engine driving front wheels, 1 engine driving back wheels. Looks like the guys have made a shift mechanism so both gearboxes change together, but they can disconnect the rear shift so they run just the front. CorradoDriver 0 Posted October 27, 2006 yhea but isnt that gona be weird cuz the front engine is obviously more powerfull than the rear, and how much hp do u think that thing gona generate after its done
Dub_nut_g60 0 Posted October 27, 2006 Both engines are VR turbos so pretty much the same, give or take a few ponies! After reading it sounds like he either sold the twin turbo VR or has broken it to use in this set up (leaving one turbo on, and putting the rear engine) Sounds they are aiming at 500WHP to start (250WHP from each engine) i would guess 700WHP is easily acheivable, and with enough cash thrown at it 1000 would be doable ......although as im not a VR owner i could be talking rubbish!! Goldie 2 Posted October 28, 2006 Ian Birch did a twin Vr6 rallye many years ago now at Dubsport and it was corker. Twin engines and turbos, must be mad!!
cata 0 Posted October 28, 2006 Been following this for a while, mental stuff but curious to see the handling with all that weight in the back. From what I understand they sold the engine setup, and kept the shell.
