Another whats it worth....VR6

Have the chance to buy a 2 owner, FSH VR6 - metallic blue, cloth interior, 139k, 11 months MOT, a bit of tax. Car is described as very good condition - lets revise that down to average for safetys sake.

 

I can buy it for £1700 - thinking about getting it, tidying it up (mainly elbow grease), running it for a while and selling it on in the Spring - does a £1700 purchase price give me the opportunity to at least get my money back come the good weather

But yeah - i'd say you'd safely get possibly up to £2500-£3000 if you put some elbow grease into shining it up - probably not worth advertising it on here though if its purely a profit making exercise! ;)

Sounds like a good price and there is deffo room to spend some cash getting the standard up before moving it on and making your money plus a bit extra back... I wish a bargain like this would come up for me 8)

Its the fitting the new downpipe thats causing the delay Dave - apparently I have to get off my a*se to fit it!! I mean.....how bloody unreasonable :)
