_leon_ 0 Posted December 22, 2006 I've fitted the ddi gauges and while they are lovely, everythign works as expected bar the rpm needle. It seems to 'stick', e.g. i rev to 2k rpm, the needle stays at 2k rpm. It also seems a little 'slower' to react to rev rates than previously. Is it just a case of it being on too tight? Anyone else had this and needed to adjust? *dreading the thought of having to do all that pita work again*
Riley 0 Posted December 22, 2006 Sounds like the dial faces are catching the needle/needle element underneath. Probably just a cse of re-positioning. Neil.
Guest Posted December 22, 2006 exactly what I would have said. your faces have lifted slightly and are catching
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted December 22, 2006 Sounds like a case of "why p1ss about with the perfectly adequate stock gauges" scenario to me

_leon_ 0 Posted December 23, 2006 ^^ agreed cheers guys i'll give that a look. i did notice when i put the rpm gauge back on - there were only 2 screws - whereas there are 4 available spaces to use them. anyone notice this?
KADVR6 0 Posted December 23, 2006 leon, i had this problem to mate. for some reason the rev gauge just needed a little bit more force to be pressed down, i noticed a faint (click) then it worked fine :D cheeswire??? we could say the same about the whole car mate. ie turbo/supercharger etc etc etc, but we love these cars.
