in pro rear lights

what a load of crap to fit, who ever said these take 10mins to fit is a liar,

had to drill out the fixing holes to higher the n/s outer, panelbeat behind the 2 inner ones so that they fit without touching the panel,o/s outer was the only one that fitted as it should as for the bulb holders complete mod required to use the o/e holders, grinding off lugs, melting the plastic around the bulb hole so they would just go in then using a soldering iron to make some small groves so that the holder clicks into place just like the o/e does

overall time 2 1/2 hours so much for 10mins, in this nice cold weather

anyway finished moaning now, they look dam nice lol

red and clear crystal by the way

You're not kidding. Mine took ages to fit and admittedly they looked good at first but now there's alga/moss/greenstuff growing in the crystal bits in the corners.

Going for all red next.

Got mine second hand so all the pissing making holes and stuff was already done. Still fit like arse though.

Oh, and they had the moss in them already!!

crap fit yes and mould yes... but to be honest the mould is easy to get rid of - quick jet spray at the right angle sorts it out a treat 8)

EDIT: damn my paint looks good in that pic

No need to use the original bulb holders in. Just use male spade connectors and slot them into the wiring plug on the car's loom, no need to butcher lights or wiring that way.

They fit like ass. One side dosen't fit level and the other side isn't flat.

I painted the chrome housing...looks a bit better.

try drilling the holes up so that you can lift the lense up a bit, but watch the bottom hole as there is not much there to drill out, or if you cant drill them use a round file but that will take you a bit longer :thumbleft:

Weird :?

My inpro's which i bought new needed no modification at all fitting wise :?

And i just put spade terminals on the new bulb holders and fed them into the original plugs...Edit:as jez says!

They did have the very slight issue of not sitting totally flush though.

Neil.

they wount fit flush because the moulding of the rear part is out a couple of mm if you put the oem part and the inpro together you can see the difference

bit of a t**t if you want it to look right :x
